Despite her recent rant over her Video of the Year snub, Nicki Minaj will be performing at the MTV MVAs. The raptress would be among performers appearing at the Sunday, August 30 event, so MTV announced on Thursday, August 27 with an Instagram post of a sonogram.
Minaj is set to kick off the upcoming ceremony scheduled to take place at the Microsoft Theater in Los Angeles, California.
This will be her second time in a row to perform at the annual event. Last year, she took the stage for "Anaconda" as well as her collaborative hit with Jessie J and Ariana Grande, "Bang Bang".
She is joining other acts in the line-up including The Weeknd, Pharrell Williams, Macklemore & Ryan Lewis, Demi Lovato, Tori Kelly, A$AP Rocky and Justin Bieber.
A few weeks prior to being announced as a VMA performer, Minaj criticized MTV and later got involved in a Twitter spat with Taylor Swift after she found out her "Anaconda" wasn't nominated for the coveted Video of the Year Award.
