Roma missed the opportunity to go top of Serie A
Inter Milan went back top of Serie A with a comfortable 4-0 home win over Frosinone on Sunday evening.
AC Milan's torrid run against Juventus continued as the Serie A champions secured their third league win in a row with a 1-0 victory.
Milan, who arrived in Turin on a five-game unbeaten run, have now lost six consecutive Serie A games to the Bianconeri as Paulo Dybala's second-half goal was the difference between the two sides.
Napoli had gone top after they maintained their impressive form with a 2-0 win at Verona earlier in the day, but they were made to work hard and had to rely on quickfire second-half goals from Lorenzo Insigne and Gonzalo Higuain.
Nikola Kalinic scored twice in the second half as Fiorentina came from 2-0 down to earn a point against Tuscan rivals Empoli.
Lazio substitute Antonio Candreva's second-half penalty denied new Palermo coach Davide Ballardini victory in Rome as it ended 1-1 after Edoardo Goldaniga had put the visitors ahead.
Udinese secured a much needed 1-0 victory against Sampdoria, with Emmanuel Agyemang-Badu scoring the only goal of the game in Vincenzo Montella's first game in charge of Samp.
Elsewhere, Torino beat Atalanta 1-0 thanks to Cesare Bovo's goal, Chievo halted a seven-match winless run with a 2-0 triumph at strugglers Carpi and Leonardo Pavoletti struck the winner at the death as Genoa defeated Sassuolo 2-1.

Napoli Vs Inter Milan
The match of the week is here!
Inter Milan are on top of their game at the moment. It will be hard and extremely tactical to get any point off them this season. They know the league very well, and they have managed to accumulate enough points so far, even though they don’t play fantastic. They win ugly and are hard to beat, and that is the most important thing.
Napoli have resurrected lately, coming up from fourth place to second spot is a result of excellent and consistent show of form from match to match. Napoli are taking it slow and steady and they have established themselves to be in the race for the Scudetto.
They both have the same last five matches’ statistics. With four wins and a draw for both teams.
The match promise to be an entertaining one, though am not expecting that from Inter Milan. They are only concerned about winning, how they win it, they really don’t care.
It is a fight for top spot. Whoever wins, top the league table. Inter Milan would do anything to avoid a defeat here, that is the only way they can remain at the top.
A win for Inter Milan, super cool. A draw, great for Inter Milan. A defeat, they lose first place.
A win for Napoli, Fantastic. A draw, not too good (provided Fiorentina and Roma don’t win). A defeat, disaster!
It is a very close one. I expect an open attacking game from start to finish. The odds can tilt either side. I strongly believe Inter Milan won’t lose, but getting a win away to a free scoring Napoli is a difficult one.
Goals will be scored, possession will be key and probably a bit of luck will play its fair share in this.
My Verdict: (1:1) Both teams will score. Personally, I feel Inter Milan might snatch a late win.

Roma Vs Atalanta
Roma’s inconsistent form and performances have caused them to lose valuable points this season. The draw against Bologna saw them crash to fourth place. They will be looking to improve against Atalanta. They will be playing this match with huge motivation and seriousness.
If they win and Inter Milan beat Napoli on Monday, they will crawl their way back to the top or even sit second place. They will be looking to do their part and wait on Inter Milan and Napoli to drop points, which is bound to happen.
Roam will try to redeem themselves for what happened last weekend, I see Atalanta at the receiving end.
Roma gat this!!!
My Verdict: Roma 2: 0 Atalanta
